Overview
This test is used to record your heart’s rhythm to detect any irregular heartbeats (arrhythmias) and subsequently determine the health of your heart and the appropriate treatment/management. For this test, our technologist will set up a device for you to wear at the front of your chest. You are required to wear it for either 24 or 48 hours. Once the test is completed, the device must be removed by the technologist and returned to the clinic.
Preparation Required
- Shower or bathe before coming to the appointment
- Wear comfortable 2-piece clothing
